Beta Start – Tourism is a 3-month acceleration program designed to support entrepreneurs in better structuring their business.

Whether you have your project thought through, you built a prototype or you actually have a startup in the tourism industry, this program will help you validate your hypotheses through prototypes and initial product versions – proposing, testing, and structuring your revenue models and cost structures, not to mention the construction of its presentations to clients and investors.

In the end, on Demo Day, you have the opportunity to show your potential as a business and receive feedback from potential customers and investors.

What you will learn

During the acceleration phase you will take a deep dive into:

Validation

Put aside your beliefs and validate your assumptions and business visions, learn what investors are looking for, new validation techniques, how to map stakeholders and talk to users, and last but not least, define customer journeys.

Product

Insights to Product: Entrepreneurs will transform their validated assumptions into prototypes and products while using tools that will allow them to learn through customer interactions. The startups will launch their MVPs and set their product metrics.

Business case

Take a deep dive into business strategy, build a structured business case with a marketing and sales strategy and financial projections. Develop your pitch and practice the presentation.

Participation to Beta Start – Tourism is entirely free. This program is supported by Turismo de Portugal and produced by Beta-i.
By registering to Beta Start – Tourism you are confirming your participation in team-activities and workshops during three months. The program will be held remotely.
We will accept only applications coming through F6S platform.
